It exists to provide it's members with fun, exercise and competition.

To join members must have the stroke elements of level 6 in front crawl, back stroke and breast stroke(but not butterfly). New swimmers wanting to join should see Anna at the leisure centre first to check their level/ability. You need to attend the Friday session and bring goggles and a close-fitting swimming costume.

The club competes in Galas with Harlech, Tywyn, Porthmadog, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Bala.

The club currently has around 45 swimming members.

• Wednesday 7pm to 8pm. three lanes available-beginners by invitation.
• Friday 6.15pm to 7.15pm. Whole pool. All abilities.
• Tuesday 6pm to 7pm is for past and present team members only (two lanes only)
